We LOVE photographing seniors. And we LOVE photographing members of the Colonial Williamsburg Fifes and Drums. So, when the two come together in one session, it’s awesome!
Colonial Williamsburg’s field musicians are drawn from a waiting list of young applicants. Boys and girls begin their education in military music at age 10 and practice weekly for the next eight years, until after they have graduated from high school. The dedication involved in being a part of this unique program is so impressive. Click here to read more about the program.
Mason is the youngest of four super-accomplished boys, and the second to graduate with the Fifes and Drums. It really is incredible to see how each of them have aimed high and excelled in such big ways….Mom and Dad have done a GREAT job! We’ve been photographing the whole family since the boys were littles, and it is never lost on us how lucky we are to get to watch our families grow!
